After much anticipation, we are so excited to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Woodcreek Dog Park on Saturday, October 22nd from 10 – 12. Located next to the Tot Lot playground and near the Clubhouse, the dog park is all that our residents have been waiting for and sure bring some tail-wagging fun to all our resident pooches.
The HOA-run event will include pet vendors, pet service providers, adoptions, prizes and giveaways, low-cost microchipping, food and a pet costume contest to boot! Some of our local pet friendly vendors that will be in attendance are Scoopers Pet Waste Management, The Dog House, Rockwall Pets, All About Paws, One Love, Terrell Animal Alliance, Pet Pro and the Veterinary Referral Clinic of East Dallas.
The Halloween Pet Costume Contest will include 6 categories, each eligible for prizes:
Best Baby Boo – best of the littlest/youngest pets
Paw Power – best pet “heroes”
Bow Wow Buddies – best duo costumes
Tail Waggin’ Treat – best foodie costume
Furrrocious Furry – scariest costume
Furry Price/Princess – best royalty costume
And if you’re still around, don’t forget to join us for the last Movie in the Park of the Year on Saturday evening. The show will begin at dusk at the soccer field. In the spirit of Halloween, we’ll be watching Hotel Transylvania.
