DALLAS, June 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Southstar Woodcreek Developer, LLC (SWD) ,the developers of the Woodcreek community in the Rockwall- Fate area in east Dallas, announced the sale and closing of 11 acres of land suitable for 42 home sites to Altura Homes. The property, located in the heart of the community, is just north of the Amenity Center bounded by Woodcreek Boulevard and C.D. Boren Parkway. Altura Homes, based in the Dallas Metroplex, currently builds a wide variety of homes priced from $150,000 to over $500,000.

In addition to the 11 acres, SWD and Altura entered into an agreement whereby Altura will develop an additional 4 acres for 20 home sites to be used for the future Woodcreek Model Center. These home sites, along C.D Boren Parkway, will be used by Altura and other builders to feature their newest models.
Woodcreek is located seven miles northeast of Lake Ray Hubbard in Rockwall County near Interstate 30. The master planned community includes an amenity center, complete with an oversized gourmet kitchen, media and conference room, outdoor patio, fitness facility and children’s play area.
